Information We Collect & How We Use It

Veertu doesn’t make money from ads. So we don’t collect data in order to advertise to you. The information we collect at Veertu is to share information with you about Veertu products and services.

In order to give you the best possible experience using Veertu products, we collect information from your interactions with the website. Some of this information, you actively tell us (such as your email address, which we use to communicate with you). We don’t collect any information based on actions you take while using Veertu products.

Information Disclosure

Veertu won’t transfer information about you to third parties for the purpose of providing or facilitating third-party advertising to you. We won’t sell information about you.

We may share your account information with third parties in some circumstances, including: (1) with your consent; (2) to a service provider or partner who meets our data protection standards; (3) when we have a good faith belief it is required by law, such as pursuant to a subpoena or other legal process; (4) when we have a good faith belief that doing so will help prevent imminent harm to someone.

Veertu uses third-party vendors and hosting partners, such as Freshworks, Reprise Software, to run Veertu.com. By using Veertu, you authorize to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States and any other country where we operate.

Tracking & Cookies



We don’t use browser cookies and similar technologies.

Veertu doesn’t track you across the Internet. Some third-party services that we use to provide the Veertu.com, such as Google Analytics, may place their own cookies in your browser. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Veertu only and not the use of cookies by third parties.

Modifying or Deleting Your Personal Information



If you have a Veertu support account, you can access, modify or export your personal information, or delete your account https://freshdesk.com/gdpr.

Data Security



We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. However, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee security. You use the Veertu.com at your own risk, and you’re responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account.

Business Transfers



If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization or sale of assets such that your information would be transferred or become subject to a different privacy policy, we’ll notify you in advance so you can opt out of any such new policy by deleting your account before transfer.

Email from Veertu



Sometimes we’ll send you emails about your account, our products or new policies. You can opt out of some of these such emails.

When you interact with an email sent from Veertu (such as opening an email or clicking on a particular link in an email), we may receive information about that interaction. We won’t email you to ask for your password or other account information. If you receive such an email, please send it to us so we can investigate.

Veertu collects and stores personal information such as Name, email and company about its users to enable distribution of requested software.

In order to provide the product requested by the user, Veertu collects and stores personal data about its users on the legal basis of consent given when you sign up for trial.

Lead Management



Veertu uses Freshsales to store and manage personal information provided by users during trial registration. Users can request to be forgotten, can request their personal data, can opt-out of future communication.

Trial License Key Management



Veertu uses reprise software hosted licensing service to generate and manage trial licenses requested by the users. Users can request to be forgotten and can request their personal data.

Product Support Portal

LiveChat

Payment Processors



Veertu provides Services in conjunction with Bluesnap payment processor. Bluesnap acting as payment processors may collect and store personal data related to your billing information and history in order to provide their services and may collect and store personal data and business data to prevent fraud and other abuse.

When you request your personal information to be deleted, Veertu deletes your personal data as outlined in this document. However, to delete your payment or billing information, you will need to do so with your payment provider, as Veertu only has minimal secure access to those records as needed to provide the services.

Potential Consequences of Processing



None of the personal data provided by the user is made public.

Cross-border Transfers



Veertu.com is hosted in the United States. By using Veertu Services, you authorize Veertu to transfer, store, and use your information in the United States and any other country where we operate. Where your data is disclosed to our processors, it is subject by contract to at least the same level of data protection as that set out in this statement.

Retention



Veertu retains personal data associated with your account for some time dependent on Veertu internal marketing processes. If you would like to delete your personal information, you can request for deletion by sending email to Veertu at info@veertu.com.

To delete your payment or billing information, you will need to do so with your payment provider, as Veertu only has minimal secure access to those records as needed to provide the services.

Rights of Data Subjects

  1. If you sign up for a Veertu trial or support account, you may at any time request an export of your personal information from sending email to info@veertu.com.
  2. You may correct information associated with your accounts by sending email to info@veertu.com.
  3. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account at any time by sending email to info@veertu.com.Veertu will erase your personal information completely within 14 days (except to the extent Veertu is prevented by law from deleting your information).
  4. You may object at any time to the use of your personal data by contacting info@veertu.com. If your complaint relates to alleged misuse of your personal data by a third party, it may result in suspension of that account in keeping with the relevant law, public interest, and our contractual obligations.
  5. You may at any time lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data by Veertu with the Supervisory Authority of your EU member state.

If you purchase or use our products or services, we may collect the following types of information: (i) product type, product version, product features and operating systems being used; (ii) customer identification code and company name, and (iii) Unique ID of the machine which returns the above listed information.

We may use such information for purposes which include but are not limited to:• verifying your credentials and compliance with any usage restrictions,• carrying out end user compliance checks for export control purposes,• providing the products/services and any associated maintenance and technical support,• providing information about product upgrades, updates and renewals,• evaluating, developing and enhancing products, services, and our infrastructure,• planning development roadmaps and product lifecycle strategies.

Some products also collect or generate an ID code for each machine which reports back to us. This ID code is only used to enable us to distinguish between unique machines so that (i) we do not duplicate reports from the same source; and (ii) we can determine the number of unique machines that are using the products and services.

Market research

If you participate in surveys, we may use your personal data to carry out market research. This research is conducted for our internal business and training purposes and will improve our understanding of our users’ demographics, interests and behavior. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis and therefore does not individually identify any user.

Marketing and promotions

We may contact you from time to time to provide you with information about products and services that may be of interest to you. All marketing emails that we send to you will follow the email guidelines described below.
